Last week our Year 6/7’s went to the Murray Bridge Aquatics Centre for a fun-filled 3-days of activities based on, around and in the water. They had a fantastic time – here are a few of their comments :
“I liked sailing on the catamarans because I could just relax and I actually had to pull different ropes and steer. I also liked the canoes because they where easy to paddle and they are comfortable.” – Caleb
“The thing I enjoyed most at Aquatics Camp was knee boarding. It was really fun when I kept splashing Adam on the last day. I also enjoyed the catamarans. Kane and I were working on one together, and it was fun controlling where it went” – Blake
“In week 5 we went to Aquatic camp at Murray Bridge. There were lots of activities including sit on, small boats, kayaing, skiing and more. In my group there was Tuyen, Linh, Ila, Kailee, Paddy, Jeremy, Isaac. Our teacher name was Grant. This year is my first time that I did skiing. It was really hard to balance with the skiing, when they pull me the ski’s fell out off my leg and I still held on the rope and it kept pulling me, I drank a lot of water. I really enjoyed, it was really fun. This was the best Aquatics camp ever!!!!!!” – Nha
