Lobethal Primary School is a DECD R-7 school servicing the Adelaide Hills region of Lobethal and surrounding areas. The school is not zoned, therefore student enrolments from any locality are welcome. The school started 2021 with 175 students enrolled across 7 classes. Our school is relatively small and enjoys a welcoming and family oriented atmosphere with strong community connections ready to embrace change and diversity.
Philosophy and Core Values
Lobethal Primary School welcomes, accepts and includes all students with diverse interests and learning needs. We foster students to think critically and creatively, respect and care for others and to take interest in learning about and responding to problems that are meaningful to themselves and their community. Students are supported and challenged by committed and professional educators to work collaboratively and resourcefully to find solutions to real-world problems. Students are encouraged to be independent, confident, to persist and be willing to give and receive feedback in order to be the best they can be. Staff encourage students to be respectful of themselves and each other in the learning choices they make and facilitate caring relationships across the school.
